FAQ

Hair Extensions
How many extensions will I need?
A few things come into play here below are some
1. the density of your natural hair either being thin or thick
2. what you're trying to achieve e.g; length, thickness or both
3. the circumference of your head to ensure a seamless blend between natural hair and the extensions
4. the cut you currently have. If you have a blunt cut with really short hair you will need more hair extensions to soften the blunt cut between the extensions and your natural hair.  If not enough hair extensions are applied you will be able to see the disconnection between natural and the hair extensions
This is all discussed in your no obligation, free consultation.
How often do I need to get my extensions moved up and replaced?
Depending on what method you go for generally the recommended time frame for most methods is 4-6 weeks.
Aftercare is essential for longevity and if you fail to perform the discussed aftercare your extensions will not last as long
Our Standard range of hair can last up to 6 months
Our Premium range of hair can last up to 12  months
My hair is multi toned, how will you match it?
We have a variety of shades to work with so combining a couple or a few is how we achieve a perfect blend. Most people are not a solid colour. Usually there is a variant of colours creating dimension throughout the hair so we more often then not will use multiple colours to ensure a seamless blend. A thorough consult either in person or via phone is always done prior to application.
I see lots of girls with visible extensions I don't want my extensions visible, how will you prevent that?
For those you see with this issue. This is can be a matter of incorrect installation or failing to follow, effective aftercare. A thorough consult is done prior to application which we will discuss all these very important things that come into play to ensure your extensions are non detectable by the eye.
Can you dye the extensions?
We do not recommend dying the hair extensions. However, if you choose too you can only colour from Lighter to Darker, NOT Darker to Lighter. And, absolutely no bleach.
A sulphate free toner can be used but minimal as toners can be drying not only to the extensions but to your natural hair too so we advise you double up on appling your nourishing products if doing so.
The extensions are very porous, so we advise that you do a spot test first, before colouring the hair. Use no more than 3% developer. Please note you will be doing this at your own risk.
Can I swim with my extensions?
It’s best to avoid swimming in chlorine or salt water as it can lead to matting and discolouration. Please only use mineral based sunscreen as most sunscreens containing ingredients such as Avobenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) and Octocrylene cause rapid discoloration of hair extensions, turning them pink or orange within an hour of exposure. Chat to your specialist about what options are available.
Brows
What is the difference between tint and dye?
Tint is a more natural colouring effect lasting up to 1 day on the skin and 4 weeks on the hairs.
Dye gives more of a 'makeup' affect as it stains the skin  up to 1 week and the hairs up to 7 weeks. Perfect for those with gappy, sparse or thin brows, and those who may be time poor or dont have the patience to fill in their brows everyday.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is essentially a brow lift. Utilizing the natural brow hairs to create a fuller more balanced look covering any gaps or uneven area through the use of 3 key products.
How can I get lasting results with my treatments?
Come with no makeup or fake tan as it acts as a barrier. Follow all aftercare that is discussed during your consultation.
Lash lift
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is essentially your natural lashes being lifted. With the use of 4 products we can create fuller and longer natural lashes.
What is the different between a lash lift and lash extensions?
A lash lift utilizes your natural lashes and their is minimal maintenance being it can last up to 7 weeks before doing it again.
Lash extensions are artificial 'lashes' attached to your natural lashes. Maintenance is generally very 2 weeks for nice, full lashes. For those who are allergic to lash extensions or don't have the time to be travelling to/from a salon and laying on the bed for 1.30+ hours each fortnight. A Lash lift is a perfect solution.
